Mush for Gold
This unique assembly uses my experiences racing sled dogs for over 20 years to teach children how to run their own Sled Dog Race of Life! Students are given a bag of Gold Nugget life principles that will help them follow their dreams as they run a successful Race.

Who We Are
Adventure Quest Institute is a 501c3 educational non-profit created in 2003 to teach, to motivate, and to inspire. We do this through creative Assembly programs guaranteed to capture your students attention. Our blend of hilarious student interaction and powerful content, makes our assemblies long remembered.
Engaging
Hands-On Interaction
We bring out a truck load of real dog sledding gear, the same gear we use when out exploring the wilderness. Arctic clothing, dog sled, snow shoes, harnesses and lines, cooker, and much more. Students can dress up in arctic gear while wearing a real racing bib, and even stand on a real dog sled. We have sleds used in two well known Disney Films, Eight Below and Snow Dogs.

Hilarious
Story Telling
Robert uses his animated story telling, acted out by your students on stage, to bring to life lessons learned through years of working with his team of Alaskan Huskies.

Memorable
Cuddle Time
Each students get a chance to meet real working sled dogs from champion Iditarod lines. These dogs came from tree different lines, Susan Butcher (four-time Iditarod Champion), Jeff King (four-time Iditarod Champion), and Leonard Seppala (owner of two famous sled dogs, Togo and Balto from the famous 1925 Serum Run).

Walt Disney
"Laughter is no enemy to learning."

Make a Donation
Adventure Quest Institute always appreciates the generosity and involvement of people like you, with every contribution going towards making it possible to reach more students with these Gold Nugget life principles. Togo was the superhero of the 1925 Serum Run to save the Diphtheria stricken children of Nome, Alaska. Today, with your generous tax deductible gift, you can join our team by helping us inspire children at Title one schools that otherwise would not be able to afford the Mush for Gold program.
We want to provide you with the correct and appropriate information pertaining to your mode of support, so don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions.
